How we built the Comfort Dental Cares Foundation.

A message from Dr. Farrugia’s daughter:

Comfort Dental Cares is a program born out of a community's need.

Comfort Dental Cares offers charitable contributions to those in need. Everyone deserves a healthy and straight smile. It all started when my friend told me she tried Smile Direct Club, an "at-home" braces alternative. She saw an advertisement on Facebook and dove in headfirst without a second thought. It wasn’t long before she started noticing something was wrong with her treatment. She was experiencing a ton of pain that seemed abnormal. Thankfully, my father was able to check in on her and determine the issue. Not only was her "at-home" program completely off track, but if she continued on she was at risk of losing teeth!

What a nightmare!

Fortunately, we were able to catch it before it was too late. But this is not the case for everyone. 

Although seemingly convenient the "at-home braces" alternatives have a HUGE margin for error.  

How can we make straightening your teeth convenient and affordable while under the supervision of a professional? How could we create a program that is both affordable and accessible? 

The solution is a dental financing program we affectionately named Really Affordable Braces. An easy and affordable braces and aligner solution. 

COVID-19 Benefit Program

We could not ignore the financial impact of COVID-19 on our community.  We had to do something to help. In addition to our financing program, we are also offering $1.5 million in FREE ORTHODONTIC DENTAL CARE to those affected by the coronavirus.

Coronavirus has no doubt affected all of us in some way. Scrolling through my phone and seeing the flurry of news updates and personal stories, I began to realize how this would impact my own community. 

I discussed with my dad the potential repercussions of the pandemic and how it might affect people's ability to afford necessary dental and medical care. 

I wanted to make a positive impact and help those financially affected. I asked my dad if he would willing donate his time to provide free dental care to patients who have been directly impacted.  

He agreed and I am proud to announce another community drive benefit to the Comfort Dental Cares Foundation.
